When it rains…
... it pours.
Yeah, so today our van had a flat tire. It was the one that had been worse off since we got it. No surprise there, replace a couple tires, maybe four. That's enough bad news for the Christmas season. So they take off the wheels and discover one of them is bent and cracked. So now we need new rims too. Double ouch. (Don't know if one of us did that..., I blame...)
Combine that with two clients of mine unable or refusing to pay their bills, and we've got a quadrupal ouch. Sometimes life just happens.
So please pray for us, that our minds would be at peace during this holiday season.
Merry Christmas!
I wanted to surprise you all with a new blog for Christmas this year! Not that it could replace the gifts that we bought for you and later returned to the store, but it cost a lot less.
So what else is new?
Well.... we are getting ready for Christmas... duh...
Alex performed with the puppets at church this year. We are attending Caldwell Christian Church and have been there for over a year now. Naomi and I lead a home group with three other couples, possibly four soon. I help out on Sundays sometimes to play guitar or drums or keys. Naomi helps out sometimes with the youth and special activities. Declan is working hard in the nursery... well, playing hard at least. Alex is excited about next year, being in with the Junior High kids, that will be a whole 'nother world for him.
We had to save our dog, Koda, from certain death... again. We think he ate something that was poisoned. After a few days of fluids under the skin and close care, he began to get better. Man, it was nasty, though, as I am sure you can imagine.
Business this year has been great, the progress is amazing from last year. I am looking forward to the new year, for sure.
So let us know who's reading and give us a shout out!
